App Recommendation: Scanbot makes it easy to go paperless!
Scanbot is a mobile scanner that can be used to scan any sort of document and create a PDF or an image for it in high resolution.
Scanbot isn't your regular scanning app, its a personal app recommendation by the Next Web Team.
Getting a good scan is much easier than taking a picture manually — simply point your camera at a document and hold still for a few seconds; Scanbot will then determine the paper’s edges and orientation followed by capturing a sharp image automatically, without requiring you to straighten or crop the image manually.
The best part is that the app can convert the original image to black-and-white or grayscale (high contrast), whichever suits your need.
Scanbot also handles multi-page documents well: just scan several pages one after another like you would do on a scanning machine, and you can save them all into a single PDF for easy sharing and saving! ;)
