Android version 5.1 for Moto G and Moto X

Motorola is the first ever company that has started Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout for the first first time. Motorola started rollout for its 2nd generation Moto G even before google had set out rollout for the nexus 5. Google is now planning to release the next update for lollipop i.e the Version 5.1 in the next month. So, Motorola devices are expected to receive this update by the end of February or in the early days of March. 

The 5.0 version of Lollipop has many bugs which will be taken care of in the 5.1 version. The common issues faced by the users are due to bugs in Battery drain, WiFi connection, Memory leak and serious bugs in OK google. The soon to be launched version of Lollipop will be free of these bugs.
Motorola will be the first company to set out rollouts of the 5.1 version of Lollipop for its devices. This update will first be received by the Moto G(2nd Gen.) and Moto X(2nd Gen)  users in US and will further spread to other countries. After which the First Gen models of Moto G and Moto X will receive the update. Most of the Motorola users in the Asian countries had complained about not receiving Lollipop update for their phones. Also in India only some users who had invited for the soak test had received the 5.0 Lollipop update while the others did not receive any update. But with this news, Motorola users can expect update hitting their devices by the end of next month. We'll keep this post updated as soon as we get to know more about it.
