Hike Introduces Free Calls-Its OFFICIAL

Its not even a month when Hike had acquired Zip Phone a US based Company in the start of January and today Hike has Introduced free calling starting from today to all android users currently.

This year 2015 has begun with a bang. Hike is excited to roll out free hike calls!!
Today Hike calls are rolled out on their 90% userbase that is Android.
Here are some Features which are mentioned :

1. 1) Hike to Hike calls Free Over 2G, 3G and WiFi.
2. 2) Call option available 200+ countries
3. 3) And the most important feature is optimization for low bandwidth networks.

Since India being a cost sensitive market, the main aim of hike was to ensure that the service is extremely efficient on data, that implies that users can pack more minutes per MB when calling on hike.

Its been a big movement and a huge opportunity by HIKE MESSENGER launching the free call giving tough competition and attracting more user base than WhatsApp which also announced free calling in 2014.

Currently this is available in beta version of whatsapp. Hike will launch number of improvements over the next few months and the call feature for Windows and iOS version by the end of quarter.
