HTC One M7 Receives Unofficial Lollipop Update

As we know that there is a lot of delay for the latest version of Android which is the eagerly awaited Lollipop 5.0 and a lot of phones including the Motorola phones are getting the update much later than expected but there is a good news for the HTC One M7 users.

The HTC One M7 users who want to update their phone to Lollipop right now can go to XDA and grab the update which is unofficial and is the courtsey of LlabTooFer. The build is known as "Maximus HD" which includes both the Lollipop and Sense 6.0.
Inspite of its unconvential and somewhat funky name the build does not bring a deluge of customizations and excessive features, instead it seems to bring very few additions to the OS and hence remaining not very different from the official build.
The build supports the International as well as the Asian versions but those who are using Verizon will have to wait a little longer.

The HTC One M8 is expected to receive the update next week with M7 following it.
